This is a delightfully light hearted book that conveys to children that not all people are able to walk (but can roll in wheel chairs) but that they are just like the rest of us in many ways. The illustrations are colorful, cheerful and certainly non-threatening. This book is perfect for introducing quite young children to the need some have for wheelchairs as it is rather short, has few words on each page and is direct and to the point. The price is a bit high for such a short book but is due to the many colorful illustrations. My purchase was used book and it was in like-new condition.
