However, after about four months of light use, the lid began to slam shut instead of closing softly, which was extremely disappointing for a $150 trash can. Clearly, the original trash can I received was defective.When I reached out to customer service, I initially felt frustrated. However, I must commend Emily and Stephanie for their exceptional assistance. Emily guided me through the process of documenting the issue, and Stephanie followed up promptly to check on the availability of a replacement. While it took some back-and-forth communication, they ultimately resolved the matter by arranging for a replacement trash can to be sent to me.Although I wish the defect hadn’t happened, the way the company handled the situation turned my frustration into appreciation. It’s rare to find a company that truly stands by its products and ensures the customer is satisfied. Because of their commitment to making things right, I am giving 5 stars—not because everything was perfect, but because the company proved that they value their customers and are willing to correct issues when they arise.A couple of additional notes for future buyers: • The trash bags that come with the can are low quality—thin and prone to tearing.
